Hello guys, hope you had a great weekend. For some reason, I'm just going through a little phase of African prints, I can't lie. Trying to fine what prints look good on the other gets me all excited. For my wedding, I got a lot of fabrics as a gift. I must say I am truly grateful because now I can play around with them and make different outfits. I started with this outfit, I took two fabrics from the collection and decided to sew a top and high waisted skirt.
I was a little skeptical about it at first, because I was wondering how they were going to work. When I finally got them, I was really pleased. Its was something different for the first time in a while, so I was really excited to try it out.

You don't have to pay for much to look good, just know how to be creative and work with what you have. Also invest in Ankara, it's definitely worth it ;).

Bloggers Meet Up

Later in the afternoon after church, I attended a bloggers meet up at Yellow Chilli. I always wanted to get to meet new bloggers and hear about their blogging experiences and much more. It was a really fun experience and everyone was so friendly and open. It almost felt like a couple of friends hanging out, which is pretty cool.

from the left to the right: AdeKanye (Do It For Me) , Omolara (The Sound Mind Company) , Sisi Yemmie (Sisi Yemmie

Almost everyone ordered chapman (one of the best drinks ever lol), but Seyi (Seyi Taylor) and Adekanye ordered schweppes

I had to order some food, I can't go to a restaurant and not atleast order something small. I decided to so with chicken wings, it was really good. Some also ordered the same thing. I really can't wait for the next meet up.

Hope you all had a great weekend?

I'm so in love with colors, I can't help it, it really brightens my mood for the day. It has also really been a relaxing week, I can't lie. I'm wearing one of my favorite floral tops. If you follow me on instagram or twitter you would notice that I have worn it a couple of times. But this time, I paired it with a skirt, and a pair of orange heels.
I'm such a girly girl at heart most of the time, so this outfit basically shows that. I hope you all are having a great week!

Yesterday, me and the Mr decided to go watch the "Wolverine" movie, but this time we weren't going to miss it like we did two times ago due to Lagos traffic. We decided to  watch the 8:30 one so that we could have dinner and still be able to catch it. Luckily for us it wasn't in 3D anymore, I'm fed up of watching 3D movies, not all films require it. But to cut everything short, it was a lovely evening.

I decided to go with a casual look because we were heading to the movies, so a paired a midi skirt with a shirt, and went with yellow high heels to pump up the outfit.

I recently just added this clutch to my bag collection, I just can't wait to pair it with an outfit. The color red just makes it look so sexy.

I hope this month is going great for you all. I don't know whats wrong with me these days, I find myself feeling tired, and I don't feel like going anywhere than just to stay at home. I guess its all the things I'm trying to juggle during this period or how anxious I am for certain things, can't wait to feel better and stronger.
I have had this floral pants for a while now but I haven't worn it. I stumbled upon it in my closet when I was trying to find any loose pants to wear cos I wanted to feel free. Then I decided to pair it with a bright yellow top to brighten up my mood (sometimes when you wear bright colors, it kinda brighten's up your day and people around you).

Tiwa Savage is one of the few female Nigerian celebrities that has an amazing style. She goes for the simple and classy look, and always gets it right. I have had my eyes on her style since she came out in the music industry till this day and I must say she has truly blossomed into a beautiful and fashionable lady.

Last month was really interesting, especially since it was the month I was born. But apart from that, I got to do things I had never done before and also did a recap on how I spent my year as a 23 year old before I had to say goodbye. I do it every year and I find it therapeutic, it makes me try  to do better in areas I felt I lacked in the last, I get much more wiser and try to face my fears. Last but not the least, the best part is that I am always positive about the amazing things coming my way each new year.

Here is a little recap on what went on last month

I met an amazing gospel singe Micah Stampley, he is such a humble soul and a fun person. He came to sing at our church event, his voice almost made me grow wings (I'm trying to be calm about it).

I got featured on Bella Naija on of the top Naija entertainment website to visit, It was a good feeling.

I also did a voice over job, it was a really fun experience

I took this picture while I was at work "break time"
