Hey guys, hope your week is going well, mine has been busy lately, sorry for the lack of post. As soon as I balance my schedule, will be back in no time. I'm sure your familiar with my look below, the iro and buba look I wore to a birthday party (click here). Funny enough, it was inspired by the Tiffany Amber Lily Twist dress on the right. I have always loved the dress, I think it's one of the most sold piece the designer has.

Tiffany Amber Lily Twist dress: About 60,000 Naira (352 dollars)
My outfit (tailored): 6,500 Naira (38 dollars)

Hey Guys, Happy New week!! It's that time again were I share my favorite looks and trends from the red carpet. It seems only a few celebs brought their A game this time and a few left me with mixed feelings. I hope you enjoy my fav styles and trends I noticed.

Best Dressed

The Jenner sisters were looking hot as usual, Iggy was looking so elegant and Kelly Rowland brought her sexy on to the red carpet.

Jordan spark was looking good in the mini black dress, Lucy was looking cute in her 3 toned dress. She had the perfect girl next door look. I am loving this new Nicki Minaj, more down to earth.

Can I get a Standing Ovation for Keisha, I don't think I have seen her this elegant and well put together. She looks amazing, and I hope she sticks to it. Jlo Jlo, there is nothing much I can say than this Diva always sleys. Carrie Underwood looked so glam and I'm loving the dress.

Couples

These two couple looked so sexy together on the red carpet. Chrissy with legs for days and Shakira with her hips speaking the truth.

Mixed Feelings

Here is where I have my mixed feeling. Sarah's dress just had too much zips, I just can't focus on her outfit, I just have to look at those zips!! its just way too much for the outfit. Natasha wore really pretty pieces, but they just didn't go to well together for me. Lastly, Liv looks like she didn't care to come, but had to show up.

Hey Guys, Happy New week!! Recently I have been attracted to colors, I just like bright colors, It makes me happy and brightens up my day.
On a random note, I really do miss weave, I am getting tired of doing braids. My hair is all natural, and let's just say natural hair is not for everybody (like myself). But after going natural for a year and a half, its tough to relax it now. Sometimes, I wish I can cut all my hair and still look beautiful, that would be the best phase of my life, no hair drama.
I feel this is going to be a great week, and I wish the same for you all.  Muah!!

Hey Guys, hope your week is going great. So here is a little peek on my life on Instagram so far.

This was when my husband and I went out for lunch at Protea Hotel, their buffets are always good. Especially when you eat as much as we do, it is the best way to go. I went for plantain (my favorite food), chicken, spaghetti, meat balls and potatoes. My husband being the real African man he is, he went for eba and ogbono soup, then moved into the same dish as mine. when we eat out, we are always debating on who would drive home, cos we get to stuffed.

This was a throw back Thursday picture I took in 2010 heading to a friends birthday dinner. I went all suited up with a pair of my favorite tory burch flats at that time.

This was I think 2 or 3 weeks ago. I was really sick, and to make it more was, I had a really bad flu also. So, I made some goat meat and chicken pepper soup to help with the cold.

This was another throw back thursday picture I took in 2010 on my way to the airport in Toronto. It was still snowing at the time, that's why I got my sweater on.

Happy New Month!! May this month bring you so much Joy! I have been in a good mood lately, regardless of getting Ill more than is normal, I am not giving the devil any chance to mess with my mood. So i decided to express how I felt on the the inside with my look after recovering. I went for an inspired rainbow Iro n buba look. I recently took out my braids and twisted my hair into a bun. The green scarf on my head was to add an accessory on my head and at the same time to tone down the look just a little without drifting from the bright color pattern.
I am going to drift away a bit because this is a serious situation that no physical action has been taken to my knowledge. I'm sure you are all aware of what is going on lately in Nigeria. May God release those precious little girls that were taken and sold into marriages for 2000 naira. It breaks my heart because no child or family deserves to go through such pain. This Sunday in church, we took out 20 minutes to pray for the girls, the prayer was much needed, and at this point, we know it's only God that can intervene. May God strengthen the families involved in this terrible situation.
I didn't mean to bring anyone down this beautiful day and I hope my look brightens up your day as it did mine. Muah Love you!!! Enjoy!!
