Hey guys, I'm sure you all know that the BET Awards held yesterday. I just love seeing what the celebs are going to wear and so far I have picked the best and worst dressed celebs. Hope you enjoy and I love to also read your thoughts.

Left to Right: Kerry Washington - Tiwa Savage - Keke Palmer

Kerry Washington looked so cute in her floral dress, its hard to believe it's been 2 months since she had her baby.
Tiwa Savage on the other hand, all I can say is the reason why she is in the best dressed category is because the outfit is not all that, but she made it stand out better than I expected, and she gets a plus 1 for her hair and makeup which is always on point. But it's her worst look so far.
Keke Palmer!! I'm sorry but she is slaying the dress. I love the bionic look she was going for, she is my fav look so far.

Left - Right: Lil Mama - Jennifer Freeman - Eva Marcille

Lil Mama has no lip gloss on, but she's still poppin. I'm loving her girly look, it really suits her.
Jennifer Freeman looks nice in the simple pink gown. She has really lost a lot of weight, just hopping it has nothing to do with D***s (just saying)
Eva Marcille is always looking flawless and elegant as usual you go girl.

Left - Right: Ashanti - Adrienne Bailon - Raven Goodwin

Ashanti is looking so hot with the wide cleavage cute. I guess its been a while she let the boys come out to play. But I can't deny the fact that she killed the look.
Adrienne looks with her hair all tied up, and she picked a dress that works for her body. She hardly ends up in the worst dress list.
Raven Goodwin might be a big girl, but she is working that black dress. I love a curvy lady with self confidence *snap snap*

Left to Right: Angela Simmons - Draya Michele - Tiny

Angela Simmons shoes are killing me right now, I wish I could teleport them to my closet. I'm also feeling her dress, loving the details on it.
Draya is looking hot as usual, and loves wearing clothes that show off her assets. I don't blame her, I would too if I had a banging body as hers.
Tiny. we all know Tiny as T.I's wife or ex wife, dunno were she stands now, don't really follow up on her news, but I'm loving this look on her that's why she's in the best dress category. This is the first time I'm seeing her looking good in as long as I can remember.

Men Best dressed

Left - Right: Tony Rock - Nelly - Stephen Bishop

Tony Rock: is looking dapper in his tuxedo.
Nelly's looking fresh in his all white look. His really looking good with age.
Stephen Bishop is one hot man geez!! All I can say is i'm happy his far away tee hee!! :D

Left - Right: John Legend - Tristan wilds - August Alsina

I almost didn't recognize John Legend, the look works well for him.
Tristan Wilds looks good in his all white outfit. It almost looks like his wearing a traditional kaftan. He would still look good in it.
August Alsina looks good in his suit, the only down fall is his hair, but other than that, nice choice of outfit.
Worst Dressed

Laura Govan-Charli-Baltimore-Faith-Evans

Left to Right: Tyla Pratt / Michelle Williams / Pharrell Williams

what are your thoughts?

We all know the whole world is going cyber, people are getting more busy and most of the time, we are not able to make it to the store to purchase some items we have had our eyes on and the worst thing that can happen is the items you really want gets sold out because you could not make it on time. So that’s where online shopping comes in, and I’m here to give you some little tips from my experience of online shopping in Nigeria success over the years, to make it easy for you.

Budget
A budget is a huge part of shopping, especially if you don’t want to over spend and the next thing you know, you’re wondering where the next meal is coming from. It’s always good to spend according to your means. Most of the time our budget might not seem pleasant, but the truth is it’s not about how many items you are buying, but the quality and the timeless effect it has.

Selecting Your Items
Being in a comfortable environment and having your favorite store displayed in front of you on your laptop gives you a lot of time to make your choices, but you also need to have at the back of your mind that you’re not the only one shopping on that store. For instance, if you don’t know what you are looking for but you want to add a few nice pieces to your wardrobe, these are a few things you need to take note of.  If you click on an online category for example “shirts”, as you are discovering shirts you like, just right click on each item, placing each shirts on new tabs. When you are done searching, you narrow the shirts you already picked out down to the one that fancies you the most or would go amazing with your wardrobe.

The Perfect Size
There is nothing more amazing than knowing your body so well. For instance, your cloth and shoe size from different countries such as USA, UK, IT etc. This is because the last thing we want is to order the wrong size, it only increases online shopping insecurities. In order to avoid that, you need to go to your closet, and look at the sizes you have on each Item piece (Shirts, skirts, shoes, hats etc). Looking at the sizes, you have an idea on how each Item would fit your body.
Ps: Also regardless of how well you know your body, sometimes it is also good to back it up with the size charts from the store, just to give you a little more confidence when choosing a size. Also some items may read “true to size” or state that the size is smaller. When you find such, and you are not so sure, you can contact the stores customer care, so that you don’t make any mistake.

Shopping Cart
Don’t you find it so annoying when you want to purchase something and by the time you are checking out and you want to pay, and the next thing you know, its states that the item is “SOLD OUT”. I feel that is the most annoying thing that can happen to anyone, especially when you’ve had your eyes on that Item.  In order to avoid that, some website state an item is almost sold out which makes it easier for you to know so that you can purchase it as fast as you can. When a website doesn’t notify you, it’s more likely that the item is yours for a couple of minutes which is also a good thing. But there are I few that don’t warn or give you a right once the item is in your shopping bag, don’t panic!! Just contact costumer care to find out when next the item will be restocked, then you can take it from there.

SALES SALES SALES!!
The best thing to do is to have a drink on your side, get really comfortable, and when you see something you like that’s a great price now, especially when the discounted price seems too good to be true. Just click your way to the shopping cart and checkout like you are running a 100 meter race because when it’s sold it, you are on your own.

Happy Online Shopping!!

XOXO

Hi Everyone!! Hope you had an amazing weekend. The weather has been really hot lately its insane. Speaking of insane, the roads in Naija is really messing with me, It ruined one of my lovely shoes *sad face*. I feel like wearing slippers to walk around, then when I enter the building of my destination, I change into my heels. Just can't take the craziness anymore.
Anyways before I forget the reason for this post. If you follow me on Instagram or twitter , you would know that I attended a fashion show last week. The show took place in the evening, so I went with a flowy brown dress with a pair of high heel sandals. If you are wearing a dress like this, your enemy is the wind. I almost pulled a Marilyn Monroe, it wasn't a pretty sight. I had to drop my clutch to secure my dress *just picture it*. Hope you love the look as much as I did, enjoy!!

Hey guys, hope you had an amazing weekend!! I have finally changed my hair style :D, I needed something a little different for a change. When you have full natural hair, it's not easy at all to take care of it and find different hairstyles that look good on you. I might relax my hair soon, who knows, just need it to grow a little more.
My weekend was pretty much packed with different events, but the really interesting one I can say is I was invited to another fashion event, will show you what I wore and show you pictures from the event soon. The look I have below is what I wore to church this Sunday for Fathers day. We had thanksgiving in church for one of our pastors, and the skirt I am wearing was the aso ebi material, I just bought a different material for the top and added little draping at the back for a little DRAMATIC look "luv it". I wanted to stand out, who doesn't, it was truly a blessed Sunday. The women of the church prayed for the men and blessed their path (it was truly emotional). Hope you enjoy the pictures below and get inspired MUAH!!

Hey guys, I just realized I had not done the recap of last month, and this month is almost gone. So far, last month was pretty interesting. I learnt some new recipes, saw some interesting things and so much more below. Enjoy!!

This is my favorite lipstick that I got from the Mac store at shoprite. It's called "please me", its a pink matte lipstick. I wore it in this post  (click here)

My hubby has been amazing!! "God dey". Just been spoiling me left and right, its bad enough his already the most understand man. After having lunch, we stopped at an Apple store and he got me an IPad Air :) (love wantintin). The guy selling to us looks like Kevin Hart, doesn't he?

This is a throw back picture I took in Canada in 2011, just goofing off with one of my girls Mofe while have a sundae at an Italian restaurant. If you are wondering if I finished it, the answer is yeesssssss!! we each had one and we finished them, so its not only me :p

This was just dinner time at my house, and one of our good friends stopped over. I made roasted potatoes with garlic onion chicken breast with bread crumbs, salad, goat meat and tomatoe sauce. If you look closely, you'll see I didn't have any salad on my plate "whistles and walks away slowly*

"Drum roll please......." all I can say is, it is only in Nigeria that things like this happen. I was out with the hubby and you know even though its a cashless society, one still needs to hold cash cos pos can fail sometimes. So i decided to use atm, and behold, what comes out is this note below hidden in between the cash I pulled out of the machine. Something told me to count the money to see if it was complete (which has never happened) so when I was counting, I saw this note and yelled "Chinekeeee" just to show how wicked human beings are. the note says: "he who spends this money will run mad in jesus name amen" sigh! when I put it on instagram, I got plenty views on what to do with it, but at the end of the day, I spent it on recharge card lol and I didnt run mad :D, well I prayed before spending it and sent it back to sender cos you don't corse and think it won't come back to you especially when it is done from a wicked heart. Moving on.....

I'm sure you all are aware of the Solange and JayZ fight in the elevator, the jokes that came out of it are too hilarious lol. This was the one I found so interesting.

Lastly, my sad plantain and was getting ready to fry, it looked so sad :(, but i still cooked it :D.

XOXO

Hey guys! hope you had a great weekend! I promised that I was going to show you pictures of the fashion show I was invited to, if you missed what I wore, check it out HERE . It was a short and simple show. The event was filled with family, friends and supporters of the designer, you could feel the love in the air. The designer's collection was mostly made with African print.

I really love the blazer the designers dad is wearing, you can tell he has style.

Lolo an OAP on Wazobia FM was the host, she was really funny, but I wont lie her jokes can pierce through the heart if she is referring to you. when it came to my turn, she was mild "phew"
I know she is looking all blue, but it was tough for me to get a good picture due to the lighten.

The lady in orange and black is the designer behind Lade Couture.

After the show, we were served some small chops and drinks.

On my plate, I have samosa, puff puff, chicken kebab and spring rolls.

Designer: Lade Couture

Hope you enjoyed the pictures!!
