Its a new week with new opportunities and blessings. January is almost out of the door, letting February in. January wasn't so bad, but I am being very positive for Feb (baba God take control).
This look was so comfortable and basically described how I was feeling during the weekend (very happy). I can't remember the last time I wore tights, it has really been ages. I wore it this time around because my shirt dress was quite short at the back, to the point were if i had to bend over to pick up something, you would be seeing a whole lot of me. For some of you who might be wondering and asking yourself "isn't the weather to hot for tights?" Well, when you stop wearing leggings or pants in Nigeria due to the weather, then my answer will be yes.
There are more pictures of the look below, check them out.

 Shirt dress: Asos
Hat: Old Navy
Necklace: Aldo
Tights: random store in the uk
Shoes: outnet

This is something I have experienced in my first pregnancy and I am still experiencing a little of it now. This is the time every woman's mid section is allowed to hang out and shouldn't be apologetic about it, but noooooo, they just won't let me have it and enjoy that glory of not trying to suck in my tummy or eating a little just to avoid me looking awkward in an outfit. They just won't let me be.

"Ah take it easy ooo, it's like you are gaining weight ooo"

"Since when did you start having tummy, pls ooo don't spoil your shape"

"Don't let yourself go because you are now a mum, press your belly with hot water and it will go back flat"

What haven't I heard...... It doesn't upset me, it just makes me feel uncomfortable and wonder why people can't ask some questions before jumping to conclusions  or just not say anything at all. I know when your on the plus / curvy side, people expect you to have a bulging belling. Although that's the norm, it doesn't mean every plus-size person would have one.

I would really love to hear any one's story who has been through such or knows anyone who has :)

I'd love to read your thoughts

It's on!! JUMIA is having another sale and you don't want to miss it. Shop the best fashion buys at jaw dropping discounts, up to 80%

1)   I wore this outfit to Jumia’s Fashion Mixer. The lace jacket I made out of a friend’s wedding aso-ebi really made the casual look pop. It was fun meeting all my blogger friends and making new ones.

2)  I still can’t believe my little sister is married. This dress was made for her wedding day. I went to the market myself to buy the material and designed the look for the tailor. It came out better than I expected

       3) This was another wedding look for Ubi Franklin and Lilian’s big day. The color of the day was silver. You can’t go wrong with a silk iro and buba. The outfit was made by the lovely @Esovenn1. I tied it really good didn’t I.

4) I love me a pencil skirt any day. This look gave me life and made me feel so good inside, and I just love how the breeze just kept playing with my top, it added a little bit of drama to the picture.

5) One of my preggers look!! I stole this maxi dress from my
sister’s closet and I refused to give it back till I gave birth. She was pretty calm about it at the end and just wanted to see her niece, lucky me!!

6) The material is so bright and pretty, it was courtesy of WOODIN, they have a lot of lovely fabrics, I just had to make something really cute. I was actually 2 days away from being 8 months pregnant.

7) This is another maternity look, I wore this outfit to the Pandora store launch in lekki (great jewelleries). I was hiding at this time because the elders would say don’t let anyone know about it, it’s not good ooo.

8) I really love this look because of the kimono jacket, its so pretty and as I also love the dramatic look the wind gave it and the whole outfit made me feel so good. The shoes and accessories were from JUMIA, they were just perfect.

9) This maxi skirt and the top was actually made for my sweet baby's dedication. My husband and I chose purple, but I added a different print to match the top. It was such a beautiful day.

10) This is one of my preppy looks that I wore to church on a Sunday with these amazing killer heels I got from missguided.co.uk . I just love the whole look, it is just perfect for church.

2016 is going to be a Golden year for me and my family, I can just feel it. This Sunday being the first Sunday of the month, I had to enter it sparkling and glowing because I just have a great feeling about the transformation awaiting ahead.
The first gift this year is my second bundle of joy that is no the way. I am so excited and I am sure you are so shocked to discover I am having number 2 pretty soon (yeessss I know I should have waited a bit) but I guess God has another plan in store. If anyone told me last year that I was going to be a mum again in 2016 I would have laughed and thought that the person was crazy.
All I am asking for this year is for good health for me, my family, friends and my readers. Also for elevation, increase and grace in every aspect of my life.
Lastly, I am only going to be happy, strong and hopeful regardless of what comes my way this year and just know that the next day is going to be a brighter day.

But to be honest oo, both my pregnancies have been very easy, and I am just loving every bit of it (yummy curvy mummy for life )
